Fort Worth, TX asked in Family Law, Adoption, Civil Rights and Domestic Violence for Texas

Q: So i am here to ask what my options are for my situation.

My mother is emotioanlly and mentally abusive. Cps has been called on multiple occasions when I was little because she would spank me to a point where I would go to school with bruises and cuts,(but there was never a case since i had enough food in the kitchen and clothes in my room) and now when Im older because of the phycological abuse she is inflicting, since Im to old for her to beat. She has called the police on multiple occasions accusing me of things I havent done but it has always been her word against mine. I've begged her on multiple occasions to let me leave, there have been more than one women that I am close to who have been willing to legally take me in, but she refuses. But every time she calls the police or talks to people she knows she says that she doesn't know what to do as if she doesn't have any options. There are so many people who would vouch for me because they have personally seen her deception and how she victimised herself and blames everything on others...
