I have been paying 300 a month for the past 7 months, from an inheritance but it is nearly gone. And what I am making now is much less. I spoke to a lawyer 6 weeks in and he said to wait, to see if something came up job wise.
A: You owe whatever the order says you have to pay. You don't get to stop paying child support because you are not working -- unless you get a court order relieving you of that obligation.
