I make above proverty guidelines for my household size so I filed on my own They are retired so just retirement check at this point. Thank you! I want to makes sure I bring anything that will help approve my petition.
A: You may wish to consult with a competent immigration attorney who can look at your documentation and that of your parents and who can advise you what specifically to bring to the interview. If your income for your household size is sufficient to make satisfactory the affidavits of support, then it is unlikely that your parents would need to provide anything. Incidentally, because you indicate that your parents have been scheduled for an interview in connection with the "petition[s]" that you filed, did they also file applications to adjust status? If so, and assuming you have not already spoken with an attorney, you may wish to consult with an attorney to flush out any possible inadmissibility issues in connection with the applications to adjust status.
