A: The Child Support Guidelines are applied to the parties incomes, and there are calculations which also reflect the cost of medical coverage and cost of day care so this question cannot be answered without this information.

A: Through a divorce process, you can get child support according to Massachusetts Child Support Guidelines. The calculation is based on each of your gross incomes, how much time each of you spends with the children, and how much each of you pays for health insurance, dental insurance for the children, and daycare. You can go on my website at www.amherstdivorce.com to use the free child support calculator and see how much child support should be paid.
