Q: Entered the us on a ESTA getting married w my lover didn’t plan it. New 90day rules is it ok to get married after 70day

Hello. Im a European citizen I have been in a relation ship for six months with my loved one. I came back to the us to visit her. Wasn’t really questioned on my arrival didn’t plan to get married but now we can’t live far from each other’s and we want to get married. I entered as an ESTA. I just read about the 90 days rule. Is it applicable ? We were planning to get married after 70 days so I wouldn’t be over staying my visa and would apply for the green card to be able to stay. Can we still do that ? And how to do it after 90 days without overstaying? Also is it more complicate if I over pass my visa and get married after 100 days for example ? Thank you. We re thinking of doing t after 70 days.

A: It is best to consult with an attorney in private so that you get familiar with the process and make an informed decision.

A: Better to get married after 90 days even though your visa waiver will expire.
