Q: Can I sue a company civilly if I already have a lawyer suing for personal injury in a car accident in California

A: you can always sue anyone for anything at any time.............the issue is will you win?

if you are suing for damages probably not.

if it is unrelated probably yes...................

A: If you are trying to sue the company for the same injuries/incident for which you already have a lawyer, then no. Talk to your attorney.

A: Your lawyer is suing civilly. Not sure who you want to sue that isn't being sued--and why you aren't asking your lawyer that you have.
