Q: I got a speeding ticket and the officer said her printer wasn't working so all i got was a slip of notebook paper
The paper only had a ticket number and phone number to call to pay the ticket written on it. Is it still valid?
A: Well I think you will have a good argument in regards to the validity of the notice. That being said, don't be surprised if they don't send you a new ticket by mail. Meanwhile call the court to find out your court date, plead not guilty and I suggest you get a good lawyer.
