Q: How do I force and ex to send me copies of bills I am repaying her back for?
Paying my ex back for medial bills for my three children. At the time an amount was agreed on she had a lawyer and I contacted him to send me copies and never got them. Since I have found out she fired him as her lawyer because he was not sending her the monies I was sending in a timely manner for her. I emailed her asking for them and she has refused. I live in Mississippi she is in OK.
A: You could do discovery to get documents if the case is still open. You need to hire an attorney to help you with the case.
A:
Write her a letter, or email, with "Return Receipt", and explain that her lawyer never furnished you copies of the bills, and that you will begin paying on them again as soon as SHE sends you copies. That should be enough incentive for her to get them to you. Good Luck.
