Q: Is it possible to file for MA divorce and finalize if both spouses cannot attend the hearing? Can it be done by lawyer
Both of us live outside of USA but in different countries, looking for a way to get MA divorce without having to travel to USA. We got married in Feb 2017, but there is irretrievable breakdown of marriage.
A: The Court will want one of the parties to appear and the other party will need to have a Motion to Waive attendance allowed.
