A: You should IMMEDIATELY consult an experienced family law and/or probate attorney in the County where the Estate is being administered. Something is just not right here. Have you seen a copy of the will? A copy is filed in the Courthouse in the case file, and as an heir, you are entitled to a copy of anything in the file, upon paying costs of copies. You can do this yourself, or have your attorney do it. It would probably be best if you got copies of all the important stuff in the Court File before you see the attorney, so he can advise you more fully on your first visit. In Oklahoma, probate records are private, and only interested parties, and their attorneys have access to them. Good luck.
