Q: Can an attorney general in NC represent a civil defendant - here's the case:
2 employees state . Both were let go. One filed against the other and state. Attorney general gets involved as attorney and rep state. When defendant does not respond she files for him and is now representing him. Is that legal? Any references to her unprofessional - illegal behavior ?
A: Why not ask a north Carolina lawyer? We are in New York. Every state has different ethics laws. Does not sound like a federal question which might apply to all states.
