Q: i got a ticket for 1300..

i got a ticket for 1300 for not having insurance n licence on me. this was a year ago.. if i have proof of both can i get out of it?

A: a judge is more likely to give you a break of sorts if you now have corrected the problem.

did you at the time have insurance? a license? and it was not on you or you were bareback?

A: Several variables must be considered by the judge in order for them to reduce, or dismiss any violations. If you had insurance at the time of the stop, but did not have a copy of your policy with you, that would likely be reduced or dismissed. Generally, the same would be applicable with a license. I

I would follow up with the court and verify if you have a bench warrant. Typically a no license or unlicensed driver with a failure to appear may result in a bench warrant.
