Houston, TX asked in Child Custody and Family Law for Texas

Q: If I should sign over my rights to my child, can the judge still denie it and still choose to not terminate my rights?

My CPS lawyer told me to sign over my rights for my current daughter in CPS custody and if I do it saves all my other children from being taken by CPS in the future. Now if I sign that paper will the judge deny it if he decides to not terminate my rights or will he terminated rights because I signed it.

A: According to your post you have a lawyer for your CPS case already, so I would recommend asking him/her that question.
