Tulsa, OK asked in Family Law for Oklahoma

Q: Can an x-husband get in trouble for moving a child, 11 at the time, to a different city when he didnt tell me or court.

We have 50/50, she was living with her father so she was not going to change schools out of Bixby. My daughter told me 2 day prior to moving.

He is in Oil and Gas he had lost his job at the time, so he just moved her to okc to live with his mom when hes not living there, he is in another state working. He thinks he can not get in trouble. I need to know my options.

A: Yes he can. If you read your decree, it should contain language that you must be notified about any move of 75 miles or more. You should consult an experienced Family Law Attorney, in your area, for help with this problem immediately to file a motion to modify, and get you kids with you as sole custodian.
