Q: can i put my childs father on child support if someone else is on the birth certificate? without letting him see my son?

Hi i was 18 when i got pregnant and i was dating someone who is not a model citizen. he has a lengthy police record has been to prison multiple times and is involved in a "gang" and is involved in drug related activities we broke up when i was 3 weeks pregnant. when i started dating my current boyfriend i was three months pregnant and one day we went out to eat and somehow he knew we were there and showed up 30 minutes later threatening us and trying to fight my boyfriend and we left and went to file a police report because he sent us a video of him holding a gun threatening us. point is, hes a dangerous person. my child is now a year and two moths old. i have not heard from him since. my boyfriend has been with me my whole pregnancy he was there in the room when i had my son and he signed the birth certificate.

but is there any way of putting the actual dad on child support without him being on the BC and without letting him see my son? please help..
