Q: Can I get suspended from school for lying to principal?
I did acid this weekend, and i was upset that i did it. So i wanted to go and talk to someone about it. I told my principal because she promised she wouldn’t tell anybody. As soon as i told her the story she said “what are the names of your friends” I said “I don’t know i forgot” then she said “Give me the four names” so I wrote down four random fake names and she said “you are suspended for lying to me”
A: This is a matter of school policy, not law. It is very likely that you can be suspended for lying to the principal.
