Maitland, FL asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Florida

Q: live in different counties, haven't seen girls in over 4 yrs. pay child support. Mom won't force them to come.

I moved to Brevard County, daughters live in Miami Dade County. Ages 12 & 10. Past 4 years, every time I drive down to see them, they refuse to come and and ex-wife refuses to make them. Talk to them daily on the phone but haven't been able to spend any one on one time with them in those 4 years because their mother put it in their head that I left them for a new family, even though their mom and I were divorced for 2 years prior to me moving.

A: Your only remedy is to return to court and ask the judge to order the mother to facilitate the timesharing.
