Charleston, SC asked in Collections, Family Law and Child Support for Florida

Q: I live in SC and am owed $7,879.99 in arrears how can I collect from absent parent living in florida?

My case was opened and closed in Connecticut because he has moved to Florida. My daughter is 20 and is in college. The case closed when she turned 18 but the State of Connecticut stated that he still owes and has to pay $7,879.99 for arrears and that I would have to purse that in Florida but I am not sure how do I do that. My daughter is in her junior year of college and she could really use that money for her studies.
