West Tehama County, CA asked in Domestic Violence for California

Q: I filed a police report when my ex drove to my house and pushed me down several times in the front yard.

The Santa Clara Co. Da dropped the case. Police went to arrest him after speaking with me. But he fled after hearing they were coming on his scanner. I wanted charges pressed but was told officers wrote "no physicsl signs/bruises on victim" in report. They asked and I said I was sure I would have brusing by morning. I did and took pictures, all the time waiting to hear about my case. I was never advised it was just closed. Someone took pity on me calling and finally informed me. I felt every day since I was wronged by my ex and "the system". *this took place in San Jose, Ca. I now live in Red Bluff Ca.

A: Not sure why not filed.......i would ask for an appointment with the head DA for that court to present your case and ask for a reconsideration of the facts.
