Q: I Was stopped for speeding in a small town and the cop came and said his computer was dow. And said i could follow him

To statuon house and get it there. I wqs not in hurry so i did , then aftwr waoting another 10 min he came and said they are actually working on computer now and he would bring the to let to the nursing home where i was headed . He saod this 4 sepearte times. I started to ffeel like he thought i was doing something wrong more then miss my turn ? He finally sAid o could have it mailed? In our conersation he brought up the fact that i was much older then him ... att that point i said i had to go. It just feels very strange to have been theough a situAtion like this! Now o have no paper trail. Do i have a recourse or ? Thank you for your help.

A: If you never receive a ticket, you aren't charged, and you don't have to worry about it.

The police officer could still track you down and serve you personally, which would result in a valid ticket. If the officer mails the ticket to you, the ticket would be invalid, and you would ask the court to dismiss.
