Q: My sister is the executive to my father's estate. She sold and closed the house. When should she distribute funds to us?
This is the only thing she had left to do. This is through probate court and it's been almost 1 and half years since his passing

Once everything is ready there should be a final account that tells how much is available to pay creditors, expenses of the estate and heirs or legatees. It may be worth doing some prompting to get things moving if the probate stalled for unnecessary reasons.
