A: One is able at the interview to correct answers listed on the N-400. The officer will want to see the juvenile/criminal records. What would have been ideal, however, is for you to have had an immigration attorney review the documents ahead of time to make sure that they are not problematic, as well as to be able to answer correctly the questions as phrased on the Form N-400. Many criminal acts committed by juveniles and handled in the juvenile system rather than in the regular criminal system are not considered criminal convictions for immigration purposes. Without seeing your documents however, it would not be possible for an attorney to offer an informed opinion as to what the consequences of your "juvenile" case might be.
