Denver, CO asked in Child Support and Civil Litigation for Colorado

Q: Can I file a complaint and ask the court to override the CSEU's 3 month Drivers license suspension?

The child support enforcement unit has caused every problem I have in making my payments since losing a job in Oct 2016. (No fault of my own BTW) They raised my payment obligation from $1179/mo to $1450 when I was unemployed and that caused an arrears balance to pay.

That balance has been the justification for them to destroy my credit with a public entry. A public entry has the same effect as a felony conviction. Recently, they suspended my drivers license for 3 months. I am HVAC Contractor and my primary selling point is that I offer 24/7 emergency service anywhere in Colorado. My business and my income depends 100% on my ability to drive. This suspension has effectively put me out of business and unable to comply with court orders. I will face contempt charges next and I need to do something about these people stabbing me in the back every chance they get. What are the options if I don't have the money to pay the balance it and I cant work?"

A: If they have validly suspended your license, your only real option is to get the arrears balance paid. You could potentially seek to modify the ongoing child support. If you are unable to work, which it seems you are, due to their actions, it's unfair for them to push for the continued child support amount. You will likely need an attorney to represent you when wading through these issues.
