Q: Who draws up a contract for buying a house from seller without an agent?

Do both parties need separate lawyers?

A: Either side can draft a contract. Both sides are not required to have lawyers, but I suggest that with a purchase such as a house it is a really good idea to have a lawyer review or prepare the contract so that you know and understand what you are signing.

Hope this helps and good luck,

A: Absolutely a lawyer. Each side SHOULD have their own lawyer, as you dont have agents to guide either of you, but at least 1 to close the deal.
