El Reno, OK asked in Probate for Oklahoma

Q: How do I create an Estate Account without paying a lot of money for probate court?

My mother passed away 2 years ago and was involved in receiving settlement funds from her father's death. The family is still getting money and is now sending them to us under the title of estate of my mother. We informed them of her death . Is there a way to create a simple account or a fast track way to take care of this seeings I am an only child?

A: Summary Probate is a Fast Tract. In order for there to be an estate you will need to file a probate action. The judge will issue letters to the representative who can then open an estate account. This might be eligible for a summary probate process.
