Q: am i allowed to see exgirlfriend if i’m facing a pending dv felony charge? didn’t press charges nor did she ask for RO

it has been almost a month since i was bailed out of jail and i was told that my ex girlfriend did not want to press charges nor did she ask for a restraining order. my court date is on may 14th. since my release she has tried contacting me but i have not responded. am i allowed to see her or will i get in more trouble?

A: My advice is do not contact her under any circumstances.

A: until you hear to the contrary you should follow the order

however, if you have a case pending you should have a lawyer, retained or appointed. that is the person you should ask or suggest s/he try to get RO lifted.
