Q: I was issued four citations for making a U-Turn. What chances do I have to fight this?
I was on my way to Urgent care and made a U-Turn. The cop stopped me and said that I was not supposed to make a U-turn on that particular road. I told him that I was on my way to urgent care. He gave me a ticket for Improper you U-Turn AND three additional tickets: driving over road markings, disobeying traffic device and moving unsafely from the lane.
A: Its hard to get charges dismissed because of a necessity defense. You may be able to get a plea deal without points, depending on where the tickets are filed.
