Q: How long do I need to live in AL before filing for child support from my child's father. never married but he signed BC
Dated her father for 3 yrs long distance i moved to California from Louisiana to be with him I got pregnant became a single mom at 4 mths pregnant. Daughter lives with me. I provide 98% of her needs. He barely provides. He has multiple children with multiple women. Can I use his past against him regarding the death of his oldest daughter who was in his custody since 3yrs old whose death could have been avoided if orders were followed? Since he broke up with me he has always been aware that I will move one day to be with my family support system. He now works in texas for an apprenticeship but still has Cali addr. He did sign my daughters birth certificate. In the past he has also allowed a stranger who I didn't know personally to watch our daughter without my knowledge/permission. And can I use past text conversations to prove he left me at 4 months preg cause he wanted me to abort and i didn't? My Goal is for him 2 visit but in state where she resides. I will be hiring lawyer.
A: Glad to hear you will be hiring a lawyer. He or she will explain all of this to you.
