Hudsonville, MI asked in Family Law and Real Estate Law for Michigan

Q: my boyfriend and I purchased a home in both our names. We have a buyer and he now dose not want to give me 50% of the $

We have split up now. He has stopped the sale because I will not agree to take only 5000 of the almost 40000 we have coming out of the sale. What is my next move to make him sale the house. We had already purchased a new house and no one is living in the 1st house. He is in the new house and I will sign off on that house after I get my money from the 1st house.
