Q: Can i be evict if my mom die they say name isn't on the lease?
My mom die 2 week ago and the company say my name isn't on the lease and that i have to be out of the apartment by the 15 of this month , we're not behind it's due but not late yet, they are renovating the apartments and this the one they haven't done yet. Our rent is the lowest in the apartment, we been staying here for almost 27 years. Can i be evicted, i don't plan on staying, i just need alittle time to find me another place. All they keep asking is when I'm going to get out, my uncle say there is a process they have to go through before they set you out. This is a new company that has took over the apartments , it was Westlee, now it's Serenity apartment.
