What is exactly my next step? If it is approved, will i need to appear in court to go forward with case or will the case just be terminated.

A: If your motion is not opposed the judgment will be vacated. If your motion is a post you should hire a lawyer to argue your point at something called a “transverse hearing“ where a judge will decide whether or not the judgment will be vacated.
