What is exactly my next step? If it is approved, will i need to appear in court to go forward with case or will the case just be terminated.

If your motion is not opposed the judgment will be vacated. If your motion is a post you should hire a lawyer to argue your point at something called a “transverse hearing“ where a judge will decide whether or not the judgment will be vacated.
