Q: Can I be arrested if my ex gave me a gift and now is trying to state otherwise and I have proof stating its a gift?

A: You can always be arrested, but whether the DA files charges or DA would be able to prove their case are another thing. Whatever you do, don't talk to the police and keep your evidence/proof of your innocence.

A: Possibly, but a arrest an different than a conviction. Remain silent and make NO statements to police. If you are contacted by LE, politely decline to answer any question without first speaking with a lawyer.
