Miami, FL asked in Immigration Law for Florida

Q: If a person was found deportable due to a prior felony and has been detaineed. How does the new SUPREMECOURT ruling help

He had a final hearing and was issued removal. The case is being appealed now. How can the new supreme court ruling help him in any way? Is there a way to get a bond at this point? Any other way he can be released since he was deportable due to an old felony case. Which is being opened to see if theres any possibilities of vacating it. His wife and 4 children are born in the U.S. Thanks for the help. It is greatly appreciated it.

A: I don't see how the Supreme Court decision will help him. Getting a pardon or getting his conviction vacated may be his remedies.
