Q: I was pulled over & searched the cop found multiple checks in my toolbox tht has no lock

I didn't put them there nor receive any from anyone but my name is written on them.. I was arrested for check fraud and forgery during the search of my vehicle 4 cops removed personal properties that belonged to me said it was for evidence but never gave me a receipt for items nor was I charged with stollen property what do I do

you may be able to win on search and seizure issues but a lawyer needs more facts.
