A: need a lot more facts

what courthouse?

how much damage? was there a good excuse for damage?

if filed as a felony you have to appear each time.

with a misdemeanor your lawyer can appear on your behalf pursuant to a 977 waiver of your appearance.

call with a summary of the facts and i will try to give you some direction.....................................

A: A lawyer could appear on your behalf for misdemeanor charges, but not a felony. You need to consult with a criminal lawyer where the charges were filed. They would need to review your case in order to determine options. Use Justia or Google to locate and calls a few law firms. Good luck.
