Q: bought memory foam matress. got super sick. it has fiber glass cover. company admittes it in an email. ruined everything
bought memory foam mattress from Walmart back in February it ended up having a fiberglass inner cover I began getting sick. my son that's 8 begin getting respiratory issues and was sick missed about a week & 1/2 of school. I took him to the doctors and emergency room I went to the doctors as well. My oldest son laid on bed and vomited 2 hrs later. I had been getting sick every 4/5days since i bought the bed.I had threw up the first night i slept on it not realizing it was the cause. the company admitted that it does have a fiberglass in her cover. fiberglass particles are all over of my belongings I had to throw away nearly most the contents of my living room and all of our bedding or blankets and most our clothing. I am still coughing.** I still have clothing that has fiber glass on it. * hanging up in my sons room that hasnt been home in over 2 weeks because he has asthma and began having problems about a month into matress being purchased.

You have a possible claim for personal injury, along with your sons. Although, there is no reason that fiberglass would make anyone vomit, except maybe excessive coughing. It isn't helpful that you have thrown away the contents of your living room, as testing those items would establish the presence of fiberglass, but that is no longer possible.
Make a list of all of your economic damages, by item, and contact some PI attorneys. I am not certain on whether your damages are substantial enough to justify a lawsuit, but it is worth talking to some attorneys about it.
A: BTW: this seems to be a known problem: http://www.azfamily.com/story/35614805/family-forced-to-leave-home-over-fiberglass-mattress-cover

many people have complaints from getting mattress wet and jumping on it and fiberglass being everywhere.........and fiberglass can be dangerous
in Arizona a family was forced to leave their home over the fiberglass cover
call me tomorrow..................dale gribow 760 837 7500
it looks like a good claim but a lawyer would have to evaluate the extent of damages........it is a shame you have thrown away some of the evidence
