Menlo Park, CA asked in Domestic Violence for California

Q: I am looking to get a restraining order against my girlfriend’s ex husband. I have a temporary order

He was arrested for stalking, threatening and harassing her. She had a restraining order on him, it has been dropped. He had supervised probation and is now on unsupervised probation. Should I show his previous restraining order and bring up the fact he is still on probation at the hearing to get my permanent restraining order ? Since he is on probation and is getting another restraining order for doing the same thing to me result in punishment for him? This is in California
