Q: How can I get a copy of my citizenship certificate WITHOUT going through my mother?

I'm a 21 year-old Haitian currently residing in FL. I became a US citizen age 14 once my mother became naturalized however she never filed for me to receive a citizenship certificate (she thought it was going to be sent automatically). I've already filed Form N-565 & USCIS is requesting proof of my citizenship & one of the options is by sending a copy of HER citizenship certificate. Other options are providing the date, location & circumstances of how I became a citizen, show a copy of a court recorded if proceeded before a judge, or go through the National Archive. which are not options for me since I gained citizenship automatically thru her. Now my mother refuses to help me & provide me a copy of her certificate so I am wondering as to what ELSE can I do to show proof or other ways to get my certificate? And No I do not have a US passport either. HELP PLEASE! :(

A: If you became a US citizen as a child through your mother, you can apply for a certificate using form N-600.

A: You can explain the circumstances to USCIS and see if they can access the record on their own; they will have it. It’s hard to say if you will be successful, but you do not some evidence of your mother’s citizenship, and if she’s not going to give it to you, and you have no other way to get it, then you no other option to request that USCIS assist you in some way.
