San Francisco, CA asked in Criminal Law for California

Q: Arrested a second time within 4 months for 25658(A) Sell/ETC Liquor to a Minor in California

I was arrested for 25658(A) Sell/ETC Liquor to a minor. I had to pay a fine and participate in a diversion program as well do community service with a subsequent court date for dismissal for year 2020. I got arrested again for the same offense within 4 months of 1 arrest . I had to pay a second fine but what happens now? Will I go to jail? etc? Please advise.

A: Since you are still under probation for the first offense, there would most likely be a jail time. However, it's important to seek consultation with a local attorney ASAP to see if the case can be either dismissed, challenged or to find out if there are any defenses. Don't admit to anything and call an attorney now.
