Q: Can a bank touch our business if they are suing on a foreclosure matter

Bank took our home but trying to sue us for the lost interest they would have gotten from the loan

A: In general, if your home was foreclosed the court normally retains jurisdiction to, among other things, enter a deficiency judgment. So yes, in an appropriate case the bank can seek a deficiency judgment and, if they recover, seek to levy upon assets you own, including your business.

A: Very possibly yes as with a deficiency judgment they can levy assets. You should hire an attorney ASAP if you are being sued. There are ways to reduce your exposure.
