Asked in Landlord - Tenant

Q: Im living in an apartment where the landlord doesnt allow visitors. My girlfriend and daughter visits me once a week.

My girlfriend and I live in Angeles City. She lives about 40 minutes away from me. She usually sleeps over my apartment once a week and have been doing this for the past couple of months.

I have been living in the same apartment for about a year. Just last night, my landlord told me that she can't stay over anymore. She stated thats the reason why water/electricity bill is increasing, where in my girlfriend doesnt even take baths there.

We never disturb them. We are always quite. I pay my rent on time. There is no real reason, as far as I know, that my landlord would do this.

My question is, can she do this? There is nothing in the lease stating I can't have visitors or that the landlord can limit my visitors. I didnt sign for a lease contract in the first place. Does she have a right to limit who can visit me and how frequently?
