Q: Takinge my roofer 2 civil court in Lancaster PA. Can the Judge place a lien against his NJ property?

Formally filed with PA Attorney General, no response from roofer.

A: If you get a civil monetary judgment in Pennsylvania against the roofer, you will need to file a certified copy of the judgment with the State of New Jersey. Once accomplished (and you will need to consult New Jersey law about how to do this properly), you would then be able to begin enforcement proceedings in New Jersey against the roofer's property there.
