Q: a friend borrowed my car to have dinner with a friend,she was due in court the next day,never came back,car still gone

she never showed up in court..nobody knows where she is..not even her attorney..don't want to cause her more trouble but don't want to cause myself trouble..am I aiding and abetting if I don't report my car as stolen? she had PTS ankle monitors tied to my address..she has been missing for 2 days and they haven't come looking for her or issued an arrest warrant

A: She doesn't sound like much of a friend if she has taken your car and hidden her whereabouts. If the car is not returned when expected, it is time to report the matter to the police.
