Naples, FL asked in Criminal Law for Florida

Q: Can anybody track or determine the strain of marijuana from the picture of a test kit?

While representing myself in an on-going case, I have been advised that pictorial evidence of used test kits cannot be afforded to me due to a strain tracking possibility. Is this true? Can this be done?

I have no idea what a strain tracking is.

I know of no general policy of photographing test kits. Often, marijuana is also lab tested.
