Dallas, TX asked in Personal Injury for Texas

Q: my 3 year old child slipped and fell at a flea market into improperly disposed of raw sewage.

the facility's maintainence workers were running a river of sewage from their restrooms across a walk way into an uncovered manhole. there we're no signs, no cones, no way of knowing that we were about to come in contact with hazardous waste. the man hole wasn't even blocked off at that point. it wasn't until my husband went back to take picture of the situation that the employees parked a golf cart over the exposed hole. my child suffered minimal injuries (lightly scraped knees and a small cut to the left ankle.) but open wounds that were exposed to human waste nonetheless. the manager in charge of the establishment took to us as though we were to blame for letting him fall and offered to resolution to the issue. I took my child to an urgent care where the injuries were cleaned and treated.
