San Clemente, CA asked in Domestic Violence for California

Q: my Husband pointed a gun and cocked in my face. DA dropped all charges. I have extended restraining order twice. What

Will happen with the custody of our children at our next hearing. Our children were in the home when he pulled the gun on me. He berates me and verbally abuses me daily and uses our kids as a punishment if I talk back to him. He yells and calls me absolutely horrible things while holding our 23 month old autistic son and 7 month old daughter. Is there any hope for me in getting this man treatment for his rage and abuse? I’m just a stay at home mom to our children and he comes from money. I’m not looking to withhold him from his children forever, I’m just wanting him to take domestic violence classes or parenting classes so my children don’t witness this terrible rage with his next victim. I do have an attorney who is reasonable and kind, he has a VERY aggressive attorney. Is their any hope for me and my children, or does family law must allOw men to berate there wives, shake and scream at their babies because it’s my word against his. Does money always win when it comes to justice?
