Q: My dad passed away and had no will. I held his POA and was named as beneficiary on two of three life insurance policies.
Insurance company is requesting that all of dad's children sign a release form. What should I do, I leave in another state. Thanks.

Presumably, the insurance company may be asking the other children to sign a release so they waive any claims to the proceeds, so the insurance company can pay you. But without seeing the releases your siblings are being asked to sign, there's no way to know. Best thing to do would be to seek a consult with a lawyer.
