She said if I don't give her my son for 3 days she will take me to court and take him from me keep in mind my son father is alive and in the picture. I do let her come visit him whenever she wants. The other day I had my family over and told her to not come over cause she has cause problems with them in the past. She ended up showing up without asking telling me that she can do whatever she wants that she will show up no matter what. Now I'm scared she will show up out of the blue cause she thinks she has he right to. The other day we where at a restaurant she started screaming at me cause I told her that I wanted to be at my house for my birthday and Christmas and she said that she can take him from me even if she wants, then she took me home and went into my apartment without permission started calling me words and I had my baby in my arms my toddler crying and she grab my face like if she was gonna hit me and my son father hasn't contacted me to ask what happen I'm scared to be home

A: You should not have to live in fear from your child's grandmother. In general without any court orders in place you owe her no duty to allow her visits. If she is being harassing consider filing charges with the police. Also, it is a good idea to get orders in place for specific periods of visitation for the father if you believe that he should have those. This is certainly uncalled for and has to be traumatic to your child. We could assist you in getting orders in place if you desire. 888-343-4529 #1 which is the same as 888-343-4LAW.
