A: That's a good question. It could have negative implications for your health. In addition, it could affect your settlement. Furthermore if you wait too long to treat you may never be able to resume treatment.

A: What happens if your car is never fixed? Same thing--you pocket the check and ride a damaged ride. In most cases nothing. It gets a little odd when it comes to potential lien set-asides so you really need to know what is going on, but the short answer is a)talk to your attorney but b) as to the question: nothing
