A: It depends on the circumstances. If she simply fell down on her own, there may be nothing that you can do. However, if she fell down do to negligence on the part of the Hospital (e.g. water or other liquid on the floor; poor lighting; no nurse available to help her; et.) she may have a case. Unfortunately, many people feel they can walk just fine but end up falling anyway. That would not be he Hospital's fault. It also depends on where she was when she fell, and how bad she hurt herself. Need more information to give you a good answer.

A: Your wife can contact a PI attorney to discuss a possible claim. She should have photos of the scene and preserve her footwear at the time of the fall. She should have made a simultaneous complaint with hospital staff. She should get needed medical attention. An attorney should make an immediate written request for the hospital to preserve any security footage.

A: more info needed.

what caused her to fall? you have to prove the facility was Negligent.....otherwise injuries are not enough without causation.

hopefully, this just happened and the victim immediately sought medical attention at the hospital and reported the incident that day. Keep whatever clothing was worn at that time and do NOT talk to the insurance co adjusters. It is not just what you say but often what they THOUGHT THEY HEARD YOU SAY

call me and I will give you the name of lawyers in your area as you want to use a local lawyer...if, in fact, the hospital is at fault.

A: If any kind of report was made by hospital personnel, request a copy.
